Dave has worked as a stand-up comic all over Australia, from RSL and football clubs to the "new wave" venues like The Comedy Store in Sydney and the Last Laugh in Melbourne.
In 1963 Dave opened Adelaide's "Comedy Cafe". He not only managed and performed at the venue, but was also responsible for introducing the best of the contemporary eastern states' comics to Adelaide such as Rodney Rude, Vince Sorrenti, Graham Pugh, Shane Bourne, Garry Who and George Kapinarias.
In his current venue "Comix Comedy Cellar", Dave was the first to introduce Steady Eddy to local audiences.
With such a wide range of experience in the the comedy field, David Flanagan is in a unique position to entertain Australians in all walks of "laughs".
